Jacksonville, FL – All Elite Wrestling has announced that they have filed even more new trademarks than previously known.
Last week, news outlets reported that AEW filed trademarks for the names “Tidal Wave”, “Blitz”, “Firestorm”, and “Fire”. While many industry insiders believe this move is signaling the company’s intention to expand their programming, the latest filings have put that theory into question.
The second round of filings show that AEW has also trademarked the names “Schmuck”, “Putz”, “Tuchus”, “Pish”, and “Schvantz”. The move has left people within the company confused and outsiders giggling.
“AEW is expanding into new and different markets,” explained Tony Khan. “We’re taking all the names and leaving WWE with bupkes. They think they can buy up everything? It’s a Shanda! They’ll absolutely plotz when they find out what we have in store.”
Wrestling fans and Borscht Belt enthusiasts will be watching closely for Khan’s next move.
