Total Nonstop Action hooked up with the snack company to have the likes of Mr. Anderson, RVD, Kurt Angle, and AJ Styles appear on various bags. You could’ve even won a contract for a day! I can only hope it was written on the back of a napkin Dixie Carter used in catering.
And that’s not all. Oh, no. Wrestlers also appeared in advertisements. Just look how psyched Matt Morgan is to get a $2.99 hot dog combo.
There were promos shilling the chips from TNA wrestlers. Missed opportunity not having pitchman extraordinaire Don West sell the heck out of them.
We even had Velvet Sky and AJ Styles doing a meet and greet and what appears to be a trade show. Do you think they signed individual chips? Someone check eBay!
So how did the partnership turn out? Well, TNA is still alive and Tom’s Snacks hasn’t updated their Facebook since 2013.
