London, UK – Women Of Wrestling has shocked the world by selling out Wembley Stadium within 24 hours. Despite appearing on television in limited capacities, the wrestling organization has managed to top AEW’s impressive sales for the same venue in a shorter amount of time.
With rich storylines, colorful wrestlers, and diehard fans, WOW has already managed to move 90,000 tickets. The outstanding sales have caught wrestling critics by surprise and has moved Women Of Wrestling firmly into second for most popular wrestling company.
“WOW is about female empowerment and we’re going to do it in front of a sold-out crowd in Wembley Stadium,” said owner Jeanie Buss proudly. “Our Superheroes are role models for the next generation of athletes.
A partial card for the event has recently been released. Coach Campanelli and Randi Rah Rah will be facing The Disciplinarian and Samantha Smart in a Blood And Chalk Dust match. The Beast will take on Stardom High Speed Champion Saki Kashima in an inter-promotional match. Princess Aussie fights Vickie Lynn McCoy in a grudge match. Chantilly Chella faces Lil J Boogie in a dance contest. WOW Tag Team Champions Miami’s Sweet Heat will defend their belts against The Tonga Twins and the Heavy Metal Sisters. In the main event, WOW Heavyweight Champion Penelope Pink will face challenger Vivian Rivera with AJ Mendez as the special guest referee.
AEW, which is holding All In at the same arena in a few weeks, has responded to WOW dominance by announcing yet another weekly show.
