New Orleans, LA – New Orleans EMTs have revealed that they have completed paperwork to legally adopt WWE Superstar Je’Von Evans after this weekend’s Money In The Bank match.
During the bout, Evans drove an ambulance to the ring only to be pushed off a ladder and crash through the vehicle’s roof.
“Well, I was just sitting there in the passenger seat having a grand ol’ time watching the wrasslin’ and BAM something hit the roof of the ambulance,” said lead emergency medical technician Del Rousseau. “That nice feller that I let drive to the ring crashed right through the dance ambulance.”
Evans was taken to the LCMC Health Center for evaluation, but refused treatment.
“He got some comfortable in the back of the ambulance that he didn’t want to leave,” laughed assistant EMT Starla Thibodeaux. “Mr. Evans was having so much fun playing with the stethoscopes, gauze and defibrillator that he wanted to come back to the station and check everything out.”
The high-flyer has made himself at home at the station, helping out with chores and learning life-saving emergency medical procedures. After some lengthy discussions, the EMTs decided to adopt Je’Von Evans as one of their own.
“We’re like a little family here and Je’Von Evans has fit in so well,” explained Rousseau. “We’ve got an extra bed, plenty of food, and he loves it here, so we thought we’d make it official. Plus, he has to work off fixing the roof of the ambulance he fell through.”
