Mount Everest, Nepal – AEW star Darby Allin capped off his impressive climb of Mt. Everest with an even more amazing descent. Rather than slowly climbing back down the mountain, the daredevil wrestler stood on the back of a mountain goat and road him all the to base camp.
Ignoring the warnings by the Sherpas aiding him in his climb, Allin befriended a Himalayan tahr during the expedition. Feeding it a steady diet of energy bars and AEW Dynamite matches, Allin and the goat became inseparable. The bond between the two allowed the danger-seeker to stand on the animals back and ride it like a skateboard.
Through snow and gale-force winds, Darby Allin descended Mount Everest at a record-breaking pace.
“I’m out of my mind!” screamed the former TNA Champion as he careened down Earth’s highest mountain above sea level.
The unlikely duo hopped from ledge to ledge and swerved away from a dangerous precipice. They avoided jagged rocks and uneven terrain. At one point, Allin even managed to do a sick kick flip with the goat, switching to goofy foot, and then hit a devastating Coffin Drop on a pursuing snow leopard.
When they reached base camp, the Darby Allin and the goat took a celebratory selfie, garnering thousands of likes on social media.
AEW head Tony Khan has reportedly reached out to the tahr with a contract offer, but the mammal has not texted back.
