Chicago, IL – CM Punk once again shocked the wrestling world after revealing that he has actually been the Gobbledy Gooker.
During the Survivor Series press conference, the former AEW star addressed his tumultuous time with the company. CM Punk spoke at length about his issues backstage, creative disagreements, and his eventual dismissal from the company. While fans and journalists alike appreciated the honest revelations, nothing prepared them for what was next.
What initially appeared to be a heartfelt apology to fans and the company, turned out to be the ultimate swerve. Looking directly into the cameras, Punk ripped his mask off to reveal that he is actually WWF’s feathered icon, The Gobbledy Gooker.
“It’s me, Tony. It’s been me all along,” gobbled the giant man-turkey. “Hunter sent me to take AEW down from the inside. It was so easy. And best of all? You paid us to do it! Look in my eyes, what do you see? A Gooker that is gobbledy!”
GG Punk finished the press conference by doing the turkey trot to his theme song “Break An Egg”.
“Aw, son of a bird!” said a deflated Khan later that night.
