From the “if you blinked you missed it” file comes our SQUASH this week, featuring an ECW appearance from the Rapmaster himself, PN News! Yes yes, the kid friendly fan favorite from WCW showed up in Philly at the ECW Arena…but things weren’t quite the same as they were back at 6:05pm on the Superstation.
That would be because THIS PN News was anything but a nice guy. In fact, he was downright nasty! Not only did he show up wearing a Phillies jersey with “SUX” all over it, he gave the fans a rap that was anything but complimentary. In fact, he told them they all must be BLEEP. And yes, I did censor that so no one would be offended.
Having heard enough, one Little Spike Dudley came charging to the ring. Ah yes, LSD. Get it? (Hint: it’s a DRUG REFERENCE.)
PN sees Spike charging into the ring and immediately goes for a clothesline. Spike ducks it, but News catches him for a big slam. He quickly goes to the second rope for a flipping doojymaflopper. It misses by a country mile, but I have to say this – News looks 10 trillion times better here than he ever looked in WCW.
Sadly for him, it wasn’t enough to stop Spike from kicking him right in the bando. That causes News to leave himself wide open for Spike’s finisher, the acid drop. (HINT: also a drug reference.). Sadly, we didn’t get a ton more of PN News in ECW which honestly is too bad, as I have to believe he would have been an incredible heel this crowd would have absolutely hated. Yo baby yo baby yo!
