It being December 31 and all I thought what better way to celebrate than to celebrate everyone a very happy New Year? Or as would happen around WrestleCrap HQ, a happy PN NEWS Year!
Now long time Crappers will of course remember the legendary WCW rap master. Prior to his matches, he’d come out with gold microphone in hand and regale ringsiders with a hip hop performance, one that would always start with “I’m PN News” and end via “yo baby yo baby yo!” Sounded like this in fact.
His opponent this particular day would be on LA Gore. Now one might expect a a guy with such a great name and mane of hair to have gone places in this business, but to the best of my knowledge that was never really the case. But maybe he will fair well here today!
Gore starts out of offense by grabbing one of PN’s giant drumsticks. That would seem to me to be a solid tactic – get him off balance and tumbling to the mat. Turn him into a giant urban turtle, yo. Imagine his shock when News leaped high into the air kinda sorta rotated his body for an enziguri! It’s right up there in impressiveness with one of those old Jim Neidhart drop kicks!
Gore winds up outside the ring, but PN slingshots him back in and unloads with some rights and lefts. He then follows that up with a pretty darn nice looking belly to belly suplex.
The big guy then hurks Gore up for a body slam before pointing to the corner. And yes, kids, your eyes aren’t deceiving you – he heads right up to the top rope for the biggest fattest splash you ever did see, turning LA into a blot mark on the canvas. Which probably didn’t make for a very nice new year for him, but hey, I hope you have one at least!
