In the mid-90s, every video game company wanted to ride the blood-soaked coattails of Mortal Kombat. It led to a lot of rip-offs of, let’s say, varying quality. While most video game fans have played or at least seen those games, I don’t know if many (or any) have seen Immoral Combat. There’s a few pictures floating around the internet along with this advertisement for a CD-ROM “virtual oil wrestling experience”. It was enough to garner a mention in a 1995 New York Times article. I’m going to guess that this wasn’t available at your local Kay Bee Toys, so maybe that’s part of the reason it’s so obscure. Surely, even the worst WWF games were better than this, right?
