London, UK – Despite AEW’s All In not taking place for another week, wrestling fans have already declared the Will Ospreay vs Kenny Omega main event to be the match of the year.
The “dream” match between one of AEW’s Executive Vice Presidents and the company’s rising star has gathered overwhelming praise and adoration, even though it takes place in the future. While the build-up to the match has at times felt rushed and confusing, that has not deterred the AEW faithful.
“Look, we all know this is at least a 6 ¾ stars match,” said self-described AEW “Sicko” Artem Poslov. “The match of the year designation is just a formality at this point.
“Will Ospreay! Kenny Omega! OMGGGGGGGGG!” exclaimed Petunia Flagg, shaking all over with excitement. “Don’t even bother having any matches the rest of the year. Wrestling is done until 2027!”
“I’m thinking 60+ minutes, dozens of finisher kickouts, a One-Winged Angel off the top rope through a flaming table, and Omega using Don Callis like a baseball bat to hit Ospreay,” predicted Jazzmin Clyde.
Reports of Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer exploding into a million stars has not yet been confirmed.
