Las Vegas, NV – WWE has announced that fans will be able to get a chance to beat up Cody Rhodes prior to this year’s Wrestlemania at WWE World.
The all-new immersive activity will join a star-studded fan event filled with photo opportunities, autograph sessions, live podcasts, and Q & A sessions with current and past WWE Superstars. For a small fee, average fans will get to know what it’s like to punch, kick, and bludgeon a wrestler.
At a press conference earlier today, Rhodes explained his participation with the interactive
“I want the WWE Universe to get the full Wrestlemania experience,” said Cody Rhodes. “Whether it’s Randy Orton beating me up or Roman Reigns beating me up, everyone wants to hurt me for some reason. Now, fans will have a chance to do it with my blessing.”
To show just how a session would work, WWE officials allowed a fan to complete a demonstration.
“Look at me, I’m Randy Orton!” said 6-year-old contest winner Belle DuBois before punching Rhodes in the stomach.
The WWE champion smiled as he fell to his knees.
With help from her dad, DuBois lifted a steel chair and smacked Rhodes across his back. The American Nightmare winced in pain as the child cheered with glee. Somehow the blow to his lumbar caused the champion to bleed profusely from his forehead.
Doctors rushed in to treat the company’s top babyface.
“Please love me,” whispered Rhodes before passing out from blood loss.
