Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Organizers of this year’s upcoming Royal Rumble have put in special requests for specific wrestlers to appear in the match.
Insiders have said that the Crown Prince himself put together a list of his favorite wrestlers that he wants to see in the Rumble. While stars like Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, and Bron Breakker were already expected, certain requested Superstars have proven a bit more difficult to bring in.
Much like for The Greatest Royal Rumble, the host country once again asked for several wrestlers that have passed away. Job Listings on Craigslist appeared this weekend searching for “Professional actors that look like Lou Thesz, Bronko Nagurski, and Giant Haystacks for exciting Sports Entertainment opportunity. Must provide own tights or trunks.”
WWE officials have been scrambling to fulfil the asks. Multiple undercard wrestlers not originally scheduled to perform are being given crash courses in learning veteran wrestler moves and mannerisms.
In the meantime, WWE has alternatively offered to include The Godfather, The Goodfather, Papa Shango, and Kama The Supreme Fighting Machine into the Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia.
