New York, NY – Max Caster has been fired from the WWE despite not working for the company.
Caster, who recently left AEW, was fired after his first appearance with TNA last week. The former member of The Acclaimed was released from the company following a controversial rap that referenced Riyadh.
“We’d like to wish Max Caster the best of luck in his present and future endeavors,” said WWE President Nick Khan. “The WWE would like to thank Max for all his years not working for us.”
WWE’s Human Resources office mailed a termination letter to Caster, informing him of his future termination and unenforceable 90 day non-compete clause. Caster also a garbage bag full of unsold merchandise.
When asked about the odd move, Khan said, “This isn’t the first time WWE has done something like this. We’ve pre-fired Shane Douglas on several occasions. We think it’s best to get out ahead of any potential problems that may occur with wrestlers we may be considering. Especially if our Saudi overlords may possibly be insulted.”
