Even Jim Herd Is Disgusted With The Build To Wrestlemania

Jim Herd WCW WWE TKO

Atlanta, GA – Former WCW Executive Vice President Jim Herd has expressed his disgust and disappointment with the creative direction WWE has taken in their build to this year’s Wrestlemania.

Wrestling fans have been baffled by WWE parent company TKO’s interference with the main event of their biggest show of the year. Forgoing the lengthy history between champion Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton, the company has in inserted commentator and sports annoyer Pat McAfee into the storyline.

The poor decisions were even panned by controversial early 90’s decision maker Jim Herd. The former Pizza Hut executive’s tumultuous time in WCW lead to many questionable characters and storyline decisions. While many considered his run to be the pinnacle of corporate outsiders causing problems in the wrestling business, the general consensus is that TKO is now worse.

“The Ding Dongs aren’t so stupid now, are they?” cackled Herd. “Bet you’d rather see two wrestling hunchbacks than whatever the heck TKO is doing now. At least that makes sense!”

Herd shook his head while reading a recap of the past few Smackdowns.

“Sudden Orton heel turn? Stephanie McMahon slapping Cody? A cryptic phone call? Pat McAfee?! Even on my worst day, I could never come up with that,” said Herd shaking his head in disbelief.

Wrestling fans are hopeful that TKO executives take Jim Herd’s criticisms to heart and put Robocop in Cody’s corner.
