Stamford, CT – WWE announced earlier this week that they have already sold every container of water that Blake Monroe bathed in for her introductory vignette.
Monroe, formerly known as Mariah May in AEW, debuted recently in NXT to much fanfare. Last week, the newcomer starred in a vignette that showed her taking a bubble bath. The fan response has been overwhelming and WWE has taken notice.
“We here at WWE know what the fans want,” said Head of Marketing Catherine Newman. “Judging by the uncomfortable number of social media pages created posing as her, the fans want Blake Monroe. And we’re going to give it to them, drop by drop.”
Despite warnings from the company to not drink the water, several wrestling fans were taken to the emergency room after ingesting the old, soapy liquid.
“I love you, Blake!” gurgled 24 year-old Armand Weiro from his hospital bed.
Selling used bathwater is not new, but WWE is looking to capitalize on their fans willing to buy anything. The WWE Shop is already taking pre-orders for bottles of Triple H spit, Rhea Ripley sweat, and Dominik Mysterio grease.
