Philadelphia, PA – AEW fans were angered after last week’s Dynamite when Daniel Garcia joined the Death Riders, ensuring that the stable will continue being on television for the foreseeable future.
Following a match, Garcia turned on beloved babyface Darby Allen at the conclusion of Dynamite. For months, Garcia has been struggling with his identity which culminated with the wrestler standing over Allen and joining the violent Death Riders.
Fans voiced their displeasure, but not in the way AEW may have intended.
“Why, Daniel, why?!” cried Marky Bennedentio, who was in attendance for the surprise turn. “Why did you extend the Death Riders’ life another 6 months?!”
“Oh, no. More drinking blood and dining on death and nibbling on nails or whatever,” sighed longtime fan Tricia Zachary.
“This never would’ve happened to the Blackpool Combat Club,” said William Regal in disgust.
“JON! MOXLEY!” said Jon Moxley.
While the direction for Garcia and the Death Riders remains unclear before All Out, fans can expect more run-ins, more blood, and more plain white t-shirts for the rest of the year.
