By all accounts, especially by this website, John Tenta was a lovely man. We saw that on his Dark Side of the Ring episode. In spite of some bad gimmicks, he left an indelible mark on pro wrestling in the 90’s. This letter to Wrestling All Stars magazine in 1996 helps illustrate my point.
Even back then, fans could see through the wrestlecrap and knew that John was great. He was not a shark, he was a man, and a darn good one.
