New Japan pro wrestling veteran Manabu Nakanishi is the spokesman for Tengu Brand Beef Jerky and reveals that it gives him the power to turn into a masked wrestler?

As you can imagine these Japanese commercials are very bizarre and very well.. Japanese.

The only way these commercials could possible be any better and even more bat-crap crazy is if there was an appearance by a CGI “Macho Man” Randy Savage wearing a cow costume saying “Snap Into A Tengu” in Japanese while they’re all being chased by Gamera.

“Oh yeahhhhh, Macho Man here, and I’d do the tango for a Tengu. Dig it!!!! Freak out, freak out. Need a little excitement then snap into a product from Japan which also is a compact version of a meat based item you put into your mouth and chew on. Oh yeahhhhh!!!!”

The amount of overbooking in this match was at Russoesque levels with a dash of Tuesday in Texas mixed in. What makes even less sense is that Triple H even bothered to bury a wrestler who had of no chance of getting over anyway. At least he could’ve had an entertaining match before he buried his opponent! All this was was a waste of time on a payperview that really shouldn’t even have title matches. Some people might disagree with me, but I think the Survivor Series should commit to the four on four (or five on five) format.

I will admit, though, Brock vs. A.J. looks like it’ll be great.

Got nothing against Manabu. But, they should have gotten Yano Toru doing the commercials
