We are saddened to hear of the passing of Benjamin Satterley aka PAC aka Neville. He was an incredible athlete, amazing high-flyer, and whether he was a face or heel, always went 110%. As tributes continue to pour in from all over the wrestling, one theme that continues throughout is that he was a good man. You can see that in this WWE video as “The Man That Gravity Forgot” returns home to Newcastle. We visit his family, local landmarks, and even get a cameo of a young Kevin Owens. Receiving a jersey from his favorite football team is a nice touch too.

I wish more clips like this were shown on television so fans can truly learn about and identify with wrestlers. He loves his family, his hometown, and wrestling. It’s a simple, relatable story and makes him instantly likeable.  It’s easy to lament what could and should have been, so instead we should focus on the kind words from others and the fantastic matches that PAC was able to put on for so many years.

Much like Jake The Snake Roberts, The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase also sat down to watch some Grade-A Wrestlecrap. Ted digs into the 1987 Slammies, The Shockmaster, The Yeti, and more. It’s always fun watching these seasoned veterans experience absolute wrestling insanity for the first time. Now if only we can get Ted to talk about Someone Bought This and Squash Of The Week…

Wrestling legend Bruno Sammartino helped advertise Pittsburgh radio station KDKA‘s luck number game. Watch him as he crushes a stereo speaker, elbows a TV, and drops an ax handle onto a car. It doesn’t make me want to listen to the radio, but it does make me want to take Bruno to the junkyard to see him crush cars into little cubes.

Having a wrestler in your car commercial is cool. Wrestling them in your car commercial is even cooler. Getting Mad Dog Vachon to take a bump for you onto an ’88 Ranger is the coolest. I’m not saying I’d buy a truck just because I saw a wrestler fall into, but I’d definitely consider it.

Football season is here and what better way to hit the gridiron than with some mushy peas? Members of the Tennessee Titans are hoping to turn their recent misfortunes on the field around with the help of the wrestler formerly known as Sheamus, Stephen Farrelly. I assume they’re doing his workouts, otherwise this seems real random. While Tayto Crisps, mushy peas, and baked beans may not help them score touchdowns, there’s always the option of going to TNA like other Titans.

If you’re kind of bored with the modern wrestling output like me, you may find yourself digging into wrestling’s past on Youtube. It’s a good way to discover forgotten promos, referenced matches, and, in this case, highlights set to music. Here we have the mighty and underappreciated Jos LeDuc terrorizing the ring set to the strains of heavy metal. Honestly, it’s a good fit because he’s big….and burly…

As we know, these wrestling music videos can be worse.

Much has been written about the pairing of Cyndi Lauper and Captain Lou Albano, so there’s not much need to go into again here. Whether it was Captain Lou appearing in Cyndi’s music video for “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” or Cyndi Lauper appearing at Wrestlemania, the duo helped boost both WWF and MTV in their own ways.

The two teamed up once again for this Public Service Announcement about Multiple Sclerosis. I love how Lou says they’re going to  “smash ’em, kick it, knock it off the face of the earth.” We really need more promos cut on chronic diseases.
