This week you’re not only getting Bad News Brown in a SQUASH, but you’re getting his debut in the WWF as well. It’s always interesting to watch when guys would first show and see how their characters would be tweaked for the long term, so let’s jump right in and see what we get.

You will all be pleased to note that Brown comes to the ring scowling and looking like he completely hates the world. With little brats poking at him as he walks down that aisle, can you really blame him?

The bell rings and Bad News wastes no time beating the absolute stuffings out of his opponent, Brady Boone. I’ve seen kitty cats put up more of a fight than this! (I applaud the half dozen of you reading this that got that reference.)

Brown rears back to lay in a big ol’ headbutt while screaming about showing no mercy, which he also mentioned on an inset promo and Vince parroted as well. I should also note that Vince talks about what a nice place Harlem is, noting that it’s where his father was born! Meaning Vince Sr., not Bad News Sr. (Badder News?).

We get a baaaaaaaack body drop and a punch to the throat. Next up Brown whips his foe into the ropes and catches him with vicious looking clothesline…for the win? That’s right, when he first debuted there was no Ghetto Blaster at all. He’d add that shortly thereafter and I’m not so certain that was an improvement as that clothesline looked absolutely awesome.
