With so many wrestling shows taking place over the last few weeks, it’s easy to miss important events – not the least of which would be my co-author/friend Bryan Alvarez laying absolute waste to fellow pro wrestling journalist Sean Ross Sapp!

What’s that? You missed it? Not to worry, we’ve got you covered with our SQUASH of the Week! This took place as part of GCW Joey Janela’s Spring Break: The Immortal Clusterf*** in Las Vegas over WrestleMania weekend. Sapp was in the ring as part of the Clusterf*** match itself and he was shocked when none other than my pal Bryan entered the ring. The might Bryan begged him to bring it on, and Sapp went right at him with a chop that didn’t even phase my Death of WCW co-hort.

Instead, Bryan reared back and showed him what a REAL chop was, causing Sapp to nearly fall off his feet!

At this point Sapp knew he was in over his head, as Bryan stood tall no matter how many chops SRS threw. Seeing that he stood no chance, Sapp reached into a nefarious bag of tricks and raked Alvarez’s eyes!

But Bryan was playing possum. Sapp went for a clothesline, but Bryan’s catlike quickness allowed him to easily avoid it. Super Chico then uncorked a super kick that would have made Shawn Michaels proud, nearly knocking off Sapp’s head. At this point, the 1-2-3 was inevitable and Bryan eliminated Sapp from competition! If you’re like me and love Bryan, be sure to pick up either our magnum opus The Death of WCW or his new book, Pro Wrestling for Dummies!
