Someone Bought This: WWE is now selling a Wyatt Family Sheep Mask. Oh, the irony…

Wyatt Family Sheep Mask

The irony of the WWE selling this mask to hordes of fans based on a gimmick of like-minded cultists who are all about group-think (while still claiming to be individuals, of course) spouting mindless nonsense is simply stunning.

“We here in the WWE Marketing Department think you fans are a bunch of mindless sheep, and we’ll prove it by mass-marketing this sheep mask based our “Family Cult” gimmick that you’re all eating up with a spoon. You will buy it, and you will think it makes you look cool. Dance, puppets! Dance!”.

It’s actually kind of genius.

I wonder if any of the fans who are sure to buy this mask understand just how funny this really is once you spend any time thinking about it?

Remember these things when you see hundreds of fans looking like complete idiots wearing these things in the crowd on RAW over the next couple of months.

I don’t think this is ironic: I think the WWE knows exactly what they’re doing with this.

*pulling up to RAW show in old AMC Eagle

*puts on store bought sheep mask

Am I the only one who had the banjo music from “Deliverance” running through my mind when the Wyatts debuted on Raw? I was half expecting Bray Wyatt to tell Kane to “Squeal like a piggy, boy!!”

    • Lee W says:

You’re not and the other funny thing is that bray looks far less scary than husky Harris simply because he isn’t wrestling in trunks anymore

  4. Stephen says:

I think that could be kind of cool if done properly. Imagine an entire arena full of people watching the Wyatt family silently while wearing the sheep masks … but not wearing them for any other part of the show.

  5. The Crazed Spruce says:

Not the kind of thing I’d order online, but I could definitely see myself picking it up at the merch table at a house show.

  6. Sean Bateman says:

When I see the sheep masked fans members, are mocking Daniel Bryan or members of the Wyatt family

  7. BaltoJim says:

I’m holding out for a Daniel Bryan Goat Mask™, myself.

  8. Cameron A. says:

    WWE comedy, with clever subtext?

Is such a thing possible without use of Canadians, or angry bearded men?

  9. John says:

I’m gonna buy this and just sit in my room with the lights off and scare the crap out of my fiancé. The Wyatt’s freak her out, especially that mask.

    • 80's Guy says:

You better darn well videotape that and put it up on YouTube. Funny stuff right there.

Reminds me of a girl I was going out with once who was totally freaked out by the Jigsaw voice or the Friday the 13th theme song. All I had to do was say “I would like to play a game” in that voice, or even just go “chchchkakaka” and she’d flip out. Had fun with that a couple of times.

  10. Down With OPC says:

Yo dawg, I heard you like sheep…

  11. Trevon says:

I love Wrestlecrap. With that being said, I feel like this site tries too hard to find things crappy when they arent, as bad as WWE’s product was for so long, I think the Wyatts are a sign that maybe things are looking up, i also think the fact that they are selling these masks is kind of cool and it would be a pretty sweet visual if they came out and everyone is wearing their masks in the crowd.

The description on the Shop is so plain it’s creepy.
