Lanny Poffo Genius Flying Disc Frisbee 1

Okay, this is defiantly not a WrestleCrap item- this time I have something very cool for you, Crappers!

There’s an autographed Leaping Lanny Poffo (AKA: The Genius) frisbee up on eBay right now!

Lanny is a longtime friend of R.D Reynolds and WrrestleCrap so I was really jazzed to see this pop up on eBay.

Lanny would throw the frisbees out into the audience and that was the only way you could get one!

They were also made in Neon Yellow and Neon Green.

Each frisbee had a really great poem on it. Here’s a closeup of it so you can read it.

They’re very tough to find, so Buy It Now!

It would make a great addition to any wrestling fan’s collection!

Here’s an ad from the Winter 1988 WWF Merchandise Catalog for them in Orange and Red.

This is the only item any Leaping Lanny fans want

  2. John C says:

To not buy this would be a crime
It is magical with the gift of rhyme
So much better than a mime
Hurry before you run out of time
And it’s far better than a Hulk Hogan wind chime

  3. Bubba says:

    I don’t see a COA
    So I say stay away
    Also, it’s not truly signed,
    Better deals you can find.

  4. Alan says:

I have one of these at home from when I met Poffo at a WWF House Show in June 1988. Instead of using a Sharpir marker, he used a water-based Crayola marker & his autograph wore off. He was a nice guy from what I can remember.

  5. Anonymous says:

This is legit THE coolest wrestling merchandise ever.

  6. Paul R. from Spook Central: The Ghostbusters Companion says:

I sold mine a week ago for a FRACTION of that price:
    $29.99 + $6.99 shipping

I thought mine was in bad shape because, when I was a kid, I put a laminate sticker over the autograph, but compared to the “almost faded out” autograph on the one in the auction listed in this post, mine’s in mint condition!

My frisbee was signed in person at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, NY at a WWF live event in the 1980s. Signed in black marker on the back, “To Paul! Leapin’ Lanny.” My father (and a handful of other fans) ran into Lanny in the lobby during the show and quickly bought items from the souvenir stand for him to sign.

  7. George says:

There was nothing cool about Leaping Lanny Poffo… except his brother.

  8. 80's Guy says:

I always wanted one of these when I was a kid.

  9. Bob Savage says:

You said Lanny throwing it to you was ‘the only way you could get one.’

In the very next paragraph: ‘Here’s an ad from the Winter 1988 WWF Merchandise Catalog for them in Orange and Red.’ And a picture of where you could buy it.
