What could be better than marbles with pictures of wrestlers in them?

Well, um a lot of things.

But these are still pretty cool pieces of wrestling merchandise.

I like that they’re called “Rad Rollers”.

How totally 80’s is that? They’re gnarly to the max and totally rad!

And look! They’re specifically labeled “action marbles” as opposed to all those other kinds of marbles that you can’t move yourself, I guess (?).

I wish they’d done a commercial for these featuring the wrestlers playing an intense game of marbles!

Can’t you just picture The Ultimate Warrior playing marbles?

Eh, maybe it’s just me.

You can buy a complete set here and there are always some sets and individual marbles on eBay.

Now if one of the top heel wrestlers or managers of the 80s-90s, ie, Million Dollar Man or Bobby Heenan had used these to cheat to win by tossing them in the ring and their opponent tripped because of it, I would’ve bought them by the truckload. 😛

As a child of the late 80’s and early 90’s, I owned these just because my favorite superstar were IN them(weird typing that). Never liked marbles, but even as a boy I knew awesome when I saw it. I remember getting them at a garage sale as a throw in for me buying a collection of 80’s WWF LJN figures in a milk crate. Had to be circa 90′ or 91′ for me.

I’d have totally bought these if I’d seen them in a toy store and I don’t play marbles either.

Oh if only they would have brought them back for Rad Radford as a gimmick. Do you think Warrior’s marbles would begin to shrink as his muscles got bigger and bigger.

    I… don’t completely hate these?

Got these for a birthday once. Never did anything with ’em.

Have to fly, have to fight, have to crow, have to save Maggie, have to save Jack, Hook is back.

I saw this exact same thing(same brand and all) somewhere recently but instead of WWF themed they were New Kids on the Block themed.

Awesome! I’m sure the marble company got the licenses of a bunch of popular things at the time.

  8. THE Jeffry Mason says:

When i first saw this i thought you were talking about those marbles that had wrestlers on top of them, so you could make the figures roll i guess.

  9. AdamX says:

My sister got me those for xmas once when I was little…she also got me a VHS copy of Vanilla Ice’s Turtle Rap…she may have hated me.

…no one has made the obvious “losing their marbles” joke yet? *scratches chin bemusedly*

    Weak merch.

  12. Preparation Triple H says:

The packaging makes it look like they’re called “Rad Rollors”.

  13. Vince B says:

I’ve always liked how random WWF merch like this (including the video games) always seemed to throw in guys like the Big Boss Man, Jake Roberts, and Mr. Perfect.
