APA Always Pounding Ass shirt

Crapper Drew Bludd sent in this Acolytes “APA: Always Pounding Ass” t-shrit and nominated it as one of the worst wrestling shirts of all time.

Can’t argue with him there!

They really couldn’t have come up with better words for that acronym?

Do they not know what “pounding ass” can be a euphemism for?…

  1. Drew says:

If this was intended for a gay bar, fine. If not, big mistake.

I believe this is a reference to an old cowboy game with the objective is to guess the weight of a donkey. In their vernacular, pounding means to guess the weight of any object. The more meatier the object is the more excitement is generated by the pounding. The participants usually encourage each other by shouting, “yes…yes…yes” until the game reaches a climax. Then they fall fast asleep until the next game begins, usually it’s the traditional weiner toss.

Definitely something from the “did not think this through” file.

While we’re on the subject, this one may not be as embarrassing, but it still defies explanation:

They probably meant punching donkeys. Who doesn’t enjoy a good old fashioned donkey punch?

I wondered about that t-shirt even way back then…
