Straight from the WCW Worldwide blog comes this WWE Invasion Pay-Per-View T-shirt.
Yes, you too can commemorate this wonderful PPTV (and 2001 Gooker Award winner) with a t-shirt!
This one’s for you, Randall B.! You should wear it with pride!

Not gonna lie — I tried to bid on this one. I did not win it.
Yeah I wouldn’t pay 1.00 for this shirt. Cause I want to be reminded of an abosolute horrendous PPV and all.
“Remember the Invasion”…
…do I have to?
Those who do not remember history… well in this case they’re probably very happy people. 🙂
Isn’t The InVasion the Gooker Award winner that made R.D. legitimately angry?
And after clicking the link in the description above I see it did.
He looks just like his old man–poor kid!
That PPV could have been more tragic. Trish and Lita narrowly escaped backing into the gap in the ramp. They could have been seriously injured on a PPV that crushed all of my dreams of a WCW / WWF war.
This shirt, in a nutshell, shows what was the main problem with the Invasion. The first ever WWF vs. WCW pay-per-view and what is the promotional image? An image of Vince and Shane. No Goldberg and Steve Austin stare down, or multiple WWF and WCW wrestlers staring each other down. I would have been happy with even just “WWF vs. WCW” because that at least would have made it about the two companies, which is what it should have been all about. Instead, this showed that the whole Invasion was little more than a continuation of the McMahon family feud. Sadly, that was just one of the problems with it!
Oh, and the anniversary of the last Nitro is this week. Going to be 14 years already!
