So I found this last week at a thrift store. It is the 1999 WWF Royal Rumble, but on something called Video CD. It is a long box containing 3 jewel case cd’s. Nowhere on the box does it mention what this will play on. I couldn’t get it to work on my dvd player, haven’t tried a pc, my computers cd player is busted.
The box is so large an obnoxious that is has room to list every rumble entrant in large font on the back. Plus what could be better than watching the ’99 Rumble in 3 inconvenient installments? I have never seen anything like this I am an avid movie and wrestling collector. Thought you’d get a kick out of it. Hope ya dig it. Love the site. Keep killin it brotha!
I thought it was a bootleg too, but it is very professionally made, and the discs aren’t cd-r’s or anything.I did find this site here, but it does not show the one I have.
Wow! Video CDs (VCDs) were pretty big in Japan. I wonder if this is a legit release or a bootleg? Hmm…
