    You know, you make a good point. There was really no reason to think the Kane gimmick would last more than a couple of months at the time he debuted. It could have easily only lasted a few months and become just another bad, short-term gimmick for him.

    It’s kind of amazing the gimmick has lasted this long!

      I certainly thought so. I assumed once the feud with Undertaker ran its course Kane would fade away. Obviously I was very, very wrong.

      Oh, and that’s an awesome picture of him.

      It was kinda the same when Undertaker first debuted. Out of all of those gimmicks in the early ’90s WWF, who would’ve thought ‘Taker’s would have endured for so long?

    Yeah, Taker and Kane have two of the silliest gimmicks ever, yet they are unquestioned Hall of Fame guys. Unabomb was still a personal favorite of mine though.
