Hang in there Shane!!

I’m sorry, Shane. My prayers and condolences are both with you.
Sorry to hear that, Shane. My thoughts, prayers & condolences.
I’m not usually one to share much about my personal life, but thanks for the messages everyone. it IS comforting to hear nice words from ppl.
it’s my uncle & cancer.
it’s been especially hard on everyone in the family because he was doing really well, almost in remission & then a small (like the size of the end of a piece of pencil lead, small) tumorish-thing grew against an artery and is causing all kinds of problems with his blood flow and they can’t operate directly on it, so the blood build-up in that area is killing him.
the docs are trying other things are putting in ports & stints and a bunch of other stuff to try & regulate/re-direct the flow.
from what I understand, it’s very touch and go, every minute, even when he looks ok.
I won’t be writing anything else about it as (outside of a literal miracle) it’s only a matter of time, but I wanted to thank the ppl who’ve offered condolensces & words of comfort both here, and through email.
it means a lot.
My condolences to you and your family.
My prayers and condolences to you and your family, Shane. I know all too well how devastating situations like this can be.
