TNA has a premium/pay YouTube channel (yes, such things exist) called TNA Impact Wrestling PLUS where for a monthly fee for $4.99 a month…
…plus an additional per-event price, you can stream old episodes of Impact Wrestling, Pay-Per-Views, and DVDs.
So if you’re a big TNA fan, that might seem like kind of a good deal, right?
The problem is they haven’t uploaded the channel in about 7 months and even then it was with much older content instead of anything current.
Here’s the newest video they uploaded as of May 2015:
Slammiversary 2013 which took place in June of 2013!
I think they must have fired whoever was in charge of this project and just left it abandoned to die like many a WCW angle from the late-90’s.
WWE Network, this ain’t!
I don’t condone piracy; but really, anyone who wants to watch video of TNA events is going to find alternative ways to do it anyway since those alternatives are A). Free, and B). More up-to-date than TNA’s legal option.
So who on Earth would pay money for an inferior service like TNA Impact Plus when there are better options available that are also free?!
Yeah; I don’t think anyone would, including you, dude! Besides, don’t you have to save up your gig money for a spiffy new WWE logo guitar?
Anyway, way to go, TNA- encouraging piracy of your own product through sheer ambivalence and laziness.
Stupid and incompetence costing a wrestling company money… Now why does that sound so familiar? Deja-Vu.
