It Came From YouTube: WWF We’re All Together Now music video

No, sadly this is not a cover of The Beatles’ song sung by the wrestlers (but how awesome would that have been?!).

“Rock ‘n Roll is like fighting in the ring”.

Wait… What?! No it isn’t!

Rock ‘n Roll has about as much to do with wrestling as wrestling has to do with making a ham sandwich!

None of the lyrics in this song make any sense whatsoever and it’s about as generic as you can get.

This horrible mess of a song is from the otherwise awesome WWF “Full Metal” album (really, it’s worth owning just for “With My Baby Tonight”) and was also used as the theme to the second hour of Raw (known as “The Warzone”) for a few years in the mid-to-late-90’s.

The “Full Metal” album has a bunch of really great wrestling themes and it’s well worth picking up. Just skip “We’re All Together Now” and “Thorn In Your Eye” which are the two weakest songs on the album by a long shot.

  1. Mike Hunt says:

Too much guns and not enough sky,
What has caught the thorn IN YOUR EYE?
    *cue rockets*

Great song, as is this one.

  2. John C says:

And a few months later Scott & Kevin would be altogether in Atlanta.

  3. Drew says:

God help me, sometimes when I’m alone I sing “With My Baby Tonight” out loud.

    I remember every word.

I still say that With My Baby Tonight is one hell of a good song. Catchy as hell. Yes, I sing it too sometimes. 🙂
