Crapper E-Squared submitted this and writes:

The Rock and Jonathan Coachman reliving old memories on Sportscenter. Interesting to see because Jonathan Coachman had been out of WWE when this happened and this was before Rock made his return to WWE.

Thanks, E-Squared!

  1. Sean Bateman says:

This is missing the Rock making Coach look like a bitch. But still funny

  2. Simplerollup says:

Figured this was a while before Rock’s comback, as he doesn’t look roided out of his gourd.

  3. Joseph S. Hasan says:

Coach was underrated, in my opinion.

  4. rexdart says:

I couldn’t stand the coach during his WWE tenure, However I quite like his work on ESPN (what little I’ve seen). I wish they would’ve made him the permanent in studio analyst for “Friday Night Fights” as Todd Grisham is pretty bad in my opinion.

  5. Brian says:

Am I the only one who would have marked out if The Rock had yelled “Dance the Charleston Coach!” to him?

    • "The Big Cheese" Paul Kraft says:

See; but they aren’t going to do the “Rock makes Coach look like an idiot” bit because it’s ESPN, not WWE TV; and Coach works for ESPN, so it doesn’t play quite the same as it did on WWE TV.

      • Paul R. from says:

I never could stand when the rock would humiliate Jonathan coachman and Kevin Kelly. It didn’t make the Rock look “cool”. It made the rock look like an ass and a bully. Neither were wrestlers, neither were “jocks”. They were the “nerds”, in a manner of speaking. That’s why I never liked the rock until he left wrestling. Too bad he came back.
