This is the music video for Jesse “The Body” Ventura’s obscure 1984 single “The Body Rules”. Yes, this came out a year before The Wrestling Album!

It’s Jesse Ventura essentially rapping (I don’t know what else to call it- I hesitate to call it “singing”) over some really bland guitar riffs.

Here’s what the picture disc single looks like.

It’s actually kind of catchy if only because Jesse has a pretty decent sense of rhythm. And it’s a million times better then anything on Hulk Hogan’s album.

This song is just begging for a Hip-Hop remix.
