It Came From YouTube: Bruce Prichard’s other WWF gimmick…

Reo Rogers (yes, that’s Bruce Prichard doing a Dusty Rhodes impersonation) and Shawn Michaels visit Bret Hart’s “parents” in Canada.

Oof… This is only slightly less embarrassing than working for TNA / Impact Wrestling.

Wow, absolutely no memory of this at all. I was in my early 20’s back then and I did like the year 1993 but not even a vauge sniff of this occurring. Those long ago days of partying so so long ago.

If it makes you feel any better, I believe Reo Rogers only lasted like two months before getting tossed into the dustbin of history.

I remember most everything from that year but somehow this one thing just doesn’t even resonate anything at all.

Looks like we found a new induction!

  3. The Doctor of Style says:

As RD’s induction says, Reo briefly had his own Brother Love Show substitute called Reo’s Roundup. They threw a few bales of hay and a wagon wheel on the stage.

Here’s one from the WWF’s high school gym era. A boring Shawn Michaels claims Razor Ramon combs his hair with a porkchop (??) and McMahon claims Rogers “didn’t speak like this prior to the accident.”

I think they also used Prichard to do a Dusty Rhodes impersonation at the beginning of the match where Golddust became Dusty-dust. (Was that era of Golddust when he replaced Marlina with Luna Vachon ever inducted? I know Crapper 3:16 was…)

Looks like the love child of Dusty Rhodes and Dutch Mantell

  6. Andre Reichenbacher says:

I remember seeing one Reo’s Roundup, I was 15 that year. At the time I knew who Dusty Rhodes was, but I had no idea that Vince hated Dusty at one point, so therefore I had no clue that Reo was supposed to be a “parody” of him. Lasted about three weeks, according to you guys. “MAN did Vince hate Dusty!”

  7. Nicholas Nutter says:

I remember seeing this when I was 11 and thinking it was unspeakably lame. When an 11 year old thinks something is too corny, you need to pull the plug.
