I ran into these silly Booker T Hungry Man ads while hearing it of all things used on a sports podcast I listen to weekly. Enjoy!
I just love these commercials so much. “Honey, I home!”. Booker is just awesome acting in these.
Thanks, Brian!
I remember these ads. I liked Booker, I liked Hungary man dinners, This was a good combination. Plus these ads were funny 🙂
Not gonna lie, this is what the “Teddy Long Makes Breakfast (in Booker T’s kitchen)” headlie reminded me of.
I love the one where the tubby guy who resembles Flounder from “Animal House” wanders in to the kitchen and is like, “Can I have some too?”, in standard “nerdy whiny guy in a commercial” format….then, SERVE, Booker has in in a headlock and is taunting him. So I guess the message is, “if you buy this product, you may get beaten up and mocked by a giant muscular guy.” CONTROVERSY CREATES COMMERCIALS!
I noticed in one ad, Booker had another wife. Must’ve been where Orton got the idea.
Well, Booker did work for Bischoff for a long time…
These are actually not that bad. Usually commercials with wrestlers are kind of mediocre at best, but these are legit somewhat amusing.
I doubt Wendy’s ever approached Booker for one of their commercials.
Oh, snap!
(Do kids these days still use that expression?)
I don’t think so, but… then again I was never cool to begin with; so I’m probably not the best one to answer that.
