The athletic supernova known as “Mr. Hole In One” Barry Darsow attempts to teach Tokyo Magnum how to play golf.

What a nice guy Barry is! He’s taking time out of his busy schedule to help a guy he barely knows who’s been transplanted from his native country to the U.S and who doesn’t even speak English.

The golf-obsessed guy, and his wacky Japanese friend- these two should totally have their own sitcom on Fox.

Oh wait… I guess Barry isn’t quite as patient as he ought to be with Tokyo.

Oh well.

Better luck next time, Tokyo! Maybe you can practace at the Putt-Putt Miniature Golf Range or something…

  1. John C says:

How did they not set up a feud with Mr. Golfer Larry Zbyszko out of this gimmick. Also everyone is a better driver than John Daly since he’s an tubby alcoholic and couldn’t even stay on the road.

  2. Dave says:

They missed out on so much money by not naming him “Pain Stewart”.

That would’ve drawn, like 50 cents more.

  3. Hutch says:

Actually Dave, they did call him Stewart Pain based on Payne Stewart the golfer.

However, after Payne Stewart passed away from a plane crash, they changed his name to Mr. Hole-in-One.

I LOVED WCW Saturday Night! Especially near the end of WCW’s run! It was the Z show by then but we got gems like “Hole in One” Darsow! What is it with Tokyo Magnum doing the Alex Wright dance? Gimmick infringement! Also he wore a mask to the ring only to take it off. Strange.

  5. James says:

I want to see the WCWSN where Darsow started having an identity crisis and he came out as Krusher Krushchev.
