Be-warned…the last time i let my kids hear “American Males” it’s all they sung for three days!

    What was their name again?

I realized while listening to this that what really makes it bad is not the repeated “American Males” refrain, but the actual music itself. It sounds like the music bed for a performance at a Chippendales show.

I have to disagree. The music by itself was okay. Just okay. The mix of vocals from the wannabe metal singer and the gay hillbilly chorus just doesn’t work on so many levels.

Funny thing is I thought the lyric “if they want to talk to you you better not listen” was followed by “you might wind up in prison” for years.

What? No closed captioning option. How will I ever know the words to this classic theme song?

Say what you will about the theme song and all that but has there ever been a more accurate tag team name?

Think of some of the iconic tag teams..excluding all the “brother tag teams”.

Demolition, The Road Warriors/Legion of Doom, Harlem Heat, The Rockers, The Powers of Pain, the Brain Busters, heck even the Mega Powers..None of these team names actually describe the team all that well if at all.

(Although if we’re talking about ones ability to hold a a promotion by its balls and keep everybody else down, then Mega Powers IS actually an accurate team name thanks to Hulk Hogan).

American Males..Well the tag team is comprised of two males who happen to be American, ergo American Males. You can’t dispute that. They are indeed a representation of their tag team name.

If they were called the Siberian Alpacas, then it wouldn’t make much sense.

It’s no wonder Bagwell became a gigolo.
