Philadelphia, PA – WWE fans’ thirst for the White Rabbit was quenched at Extreme Rules when clues told them “Be sure to drink your Ovaltine.”
Over the past several weeks, eagle-eyed fans have been spotting various hints to who or what is the mysterious White Rabbit. Many speculated it was referencing the return of former WWE champion Bray Wyatt. Other guessed that it was possibly previewing the call-up of NXT star Joe Gacy. Some even thought it was for a new WWE Studios movie. All was revealed at Extreme Rules this past weekend.
Prior to the main event, fans were instructed to use their White Rabbit Secret Society decoder ring to decipher the final QR code. Excited fans feverishly deciphered the message, expecting a big reveal. Instead, the WWE Universe was swerved into seeing an advertisement for the powdered milk flavoring powder Ovaltine.
Several wrestling journalists reacted to the surprisingly delicious directive.
“Ovaltine would go great with a chocolate babka,” said Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com
“Why do they call it Ovaltine?” asked Out Of Character host Ryan Satin, who has been intensely chronicling the White Rabbit clues. “The mug is round. The jar is round. They should call it Roundtine.”
“Bosco!” shouted Bryan Alvarez during a recap of the event on Figure Four Daily.
When asked about revelation, Bray Wyatt scoffed, saying, “I prefer Nesquik.”
