Hollywood, CA – The Disney Channel has decided to reboot the award-winning show “That’s So Raven”. To the surprise of the entertainment world, the show’s star Raven-Symone will be replaced former ECW and WCW champion Raven.

Executive Producer Sean McNamara said of the change, “We wanted to take ‘That’s So Raven’ in a new and exciting direction. Raven-Symone was great, but she was missing that ‘it’ factor. We needed someone with an edge, someone who has seen things and done things that would make Gary Busey vomit in terror. Who better than Raven?”

Despite the casting change, the show will continue to focus on dealing with adolescent situations with human and teen fashion. Most of the supporting cast will return and guest spots are planned for former Flock members Lodi and Reese as Raven’s science and English teachers, respectively.

A pilot has already been filmed with a brief clip making it’s way online. In the scene, Raven’s dad Victor, played by the returning Rondell Sheridan, grounds him for staying out past curfew. Upset, Raven sits in the corner of his bright pink room and addresses the camera directly, saying, “I understand that my past transgressions may have upset the man that I refer to as father. Though I cannot comprehend this unconscionable and outlandish punishment, I must face it as I have faced everything in this world: Alone. I must pay for the sins of the father in this fortress of solitude and cannot go to Eddie’s party. It looks like it’s just you and me, stuffed bear. Quote the Raven ‘I’m totally bummed.'” Cue Laugh Track. End Scene.

    I would watch this.

I would record every episode on VHS so when society collapses future generations may stumble upon it as a record of man’s former glory and rebuild a new civilization in its image.

  2. John C says:

Wackiness is almost a certainty when Raven and his best bud Tommy D fight over their long lost summer camp love Beulah. Wait ’till they see what a hotty she has turned into. It’s love at first DDT when those crazy kids get back together again.

  3. Down With OPC says:

I hope Raven from Tekken makes a cameo.

  4. James says:

Raven would be better as a live action Barney Gumbel, they sound the same.

If I can buy episodes on iTUNES, this is a serious “SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!” sort of deal for me.

  7. Zachary W says:

Is it bad that I’ve been waiting for this one for a few years?

  8. M. Calliham says:

Throw in Raven from Teen Titans and we’ve got us a hell of a crossover.
