John Cena Mattel zombie figure

Just in time for Halloween, Mattel has released a line of WWE Zombie Figure.

The Rock Mattel zombie figure

If I was 9 years old I’d probably think these are cool and I guess WWE’s marketing department is banking on kids loving these!

I’m 40 and I think these are cool. But then I’m a huge fan of the movie Zombieland and Halloween. Hey, who doesn’t. I would love to see a Zombiefied Andre the Giant come back and take on a zombiefied Macho Man Randy Savage or a zombiefied Ultimate Warrior (Jim Helliwig for those not in the know). Do you think they could put these in a vid game? Like say WWEK18 or something like that. In an alternate reality the dead wrestlers come back to life and the storyline would be one who is still living would have to wrestle as many zombiefied wrestlers as possible to get to the heart of the zombie problem. Where is Vince Russo when you need him?

Since when has WWE been synonymous with “good taste”?

heh, yeah… I decided to delete the editorial comment ’cause I thought it was a bit of a downer. 🙂

  3. John C says:

Cannibals always find people to be in good taste.
The Bray & Triple H figures looked the coolest. Zombie Dean could probably do a better job on the Stone Cold Podcast than non-zombie Dean.

  4. OneManChainGang says:

John Cena looks like Eric Bana’s Incredible Hulk and the Rock looks like Batista’s Drax from Guardians of the Galaxy

  5. Kev says:

I love how Triple H’s zombie figure has a blown quad.

  6. Raven7309 says:

So how exactly is the Undertaker figure different from his original 1990 debut?

  7. uuurrrrrggggghhhhh!!!! says:

I don’t see a difference between the Zombie Ro-Man and Paige compared to the living versions of them… Would Zombie Ro-Man have more charisma?

Seriously though, Paige’s figure looks like she’s just in makeup compared to the actual decomposing corpses of the other figures…

  8. Si says:

How long ago were these commissioned if the only current woman represented is Paige?

  9. ChrisV says:

I opened a package of these when we got them at the store I work at and the first figure on top was… The Undertaker. Talk about redundant!

  10. J. Lee says:

Well I bought the whole set as a gift for a zombie/wrestling cousin. Now the Monsters line coming up looks odd but I’d use for monster of the Day type characters to be slaughter by Kamen Riders
