Hulk comic book t-shirt

Crapper bigredmachine87 sent in this t-shirt and he writes:

In light of that sweet Randy Savage shirt from 80stees.com, here is a Hulk Hogan shirt I bought. I bought it as a hoodie myself and I love it. It seems they only have female sizes left but I’m sure some of the female Crappers would like to have this. You can’t go wrong with The Incredible Hulk Hogan. HULK, MAD, BROTHERRRR!!!!

What’s especially funny about this is there is an Incredible Hulk/Hulk Hogan connection! There’s a story about how Hulk Hogan got the nickname “Hulk” in the first place- it was related to how Terry/Hulk was bigger than Lou Ferrigno.

Quoting from his Wikipedia page:

During his time in Memphis, Hogan appeared on a local talk show, where he sat beside Lou Ferrigno, star of the television series The Incredible Hulk.[24] The host commented on how Terry, who stood 6 ft 7 in (201 cm) and weighed 295 pounds with 24 inch biceps, actually dwarfed “The Hulk.” Watching the show backstage, Jerry Jarrett noticed that Hogan was actually bigger than Ferrigno, who was well known at the time for having large muscles.[25] As a result, Bollea began performing as Terry “The Hulk” Boulder[25] and sometimes wrestled as Sterling Golden.[2]

Anyway, thanks for the submission!

I’ve heard that turning green is a direct secondary effect from using ‘roids…

If that was true, then Scott Steiner would be looking like a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle these days.

Well, he *was* originally billed as The Incredible Hulk Hogan. Marvel apparently put a stop to that real quick.
