WCW It's Out There Bill Goldberg ad

From the always interesting WCW Worldwide blog comes this WCW “It’s Out There” ad from 1999 featuring Bill Goldberg trying to jump on a cowboy and his horse.

I’m just going to quote from the blog entry for this one:

Another one of these ads, another image that makes me scratch my head in pure confusion. Kudos to the WCW marketing department with coming up with this kind of stuff that’s bizarre and straight-out-of-left-field, but how’s this supposed to sell a wrestling company?

The Desperados couldn’t catch a break, could they? First, Stan Hansen stands them up – then Goldberg runs them out of town…

If this was an ad for Spring Stampede, it would make a little bit of sense. I guess.

Yes, it would. But this is WCW we’re talking about, so it isn’t and therefore doesn’t make sense.
