Quick Note from RD

I apologize for the recent delays in the site on my end.  I’ve been dealing with some personal issues that I can now address with everyone.
I know some of my the folks on here knew my Mom personally, others knew her for a WrestleCrap Radio appearance several years back to which I will link on this. I wanted you all to know that after years of battle, she has gone home to be with the Lord. Anyone who met my Mom would be able to tell you stories of her, as she was a fire plug who was fiercely independent and fought to the very end.

2 Corinthians 5:
1 For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

If you would like, you can listen to her appearance on our show here. We talk about trick or treating when I was a kid and the strange things the Reynolds clan use to hand out to children. It begins at the 32 minute mark.

Thank you all for your prayers and kindness.

Yeah, you know…the WrestleCrap guy. Been here since before day 1, I have. You can hang out with me on Facebook. (I’m on there quite a bit) or follow my exploits on Twitter (I’m on there not quite so often).

Thanks, and Keep on Crappin’!

I never had the pleasure of meeting your mom but I will always remember how fun and spirited she was on that episode of WCR and how much of a good sport she was for joining in our our silliness when she really could have easily said “no”. I wish she would have been on the show a few more times so we could hear more of her great stories. I could tell you got your great sense of humor from her. Rest In Peace Mrs. Baer.

My condolences to you, RD, and your family. It must’ve been a difficult month for you, first with Bobby Heenan passing away and now your mother. I hope the days to come will be a time of remembering the good memories and love of your mother…and hopefully Wrestlecrap and this favorite season of yours will bring you a bit of cheering up in the meantime.

    Best regards.

My condolences on your loss. In October 2016 my mom passed after a long battle with COPD (2 + years on breathign tube in nursing home) and one of the few joys that I had was going home from a visit and sitting to read wrestlecrap. I’ve probably re-read rewriting the book and desecrated magazine covers a hundred times. The “crap” was a great help to me during a turbulent time and I know the community that has grown around will be one to you.

  28. Chris the Bambikiller says:

So sorry to hear such terrible news. RD, don’t apologize, there are things in life more important than any commitments you may think you have. May you find the strenght to get through these troubled times from the people who love you.

  29. Michael says:

God bless you guys during this difficult time. I know she’s proud of you and the fact that you accomplished so much from the worst in wrestling. I mean, you’ve written multiple books, that’s pretty cool.

I’m a fairly new fan of this site… I am sorry to hear about your loss, I too have lost a family member in the past month and it will be very difficult for me to visit my father’s family for thanksgiving without my grandmother there to experience it with the rest of the family. You will be in my prayers
