  3. Autrach Sejanoz says:

    I wouldn’t mind reading that Mr.Fuji article…

  4. Greg says:

Aww, come on. T. would turn Dr. D inside out.

  5. Adam Cota says:

I’m kinda curious as to what the “Brainstorms” column would’ve been like for this issue…

  6. Alan says:

    Hilarious! I remember this cover.

  7. 80's Guy says:

Mr. T was a cool celebrity crossover back in the day. He seemed down to earth, and willing to do what it took to make things work as best he could. He was pretty into it and was big enough to look legit.

That’s the one thing I disgree with Piper (one of my all time faves) about. He talked about making things harder for T and trying to legit hurt him in the ring, because he didn’t like the “outsiders” coming in and disrespecting the business.

I don’t think T “disrespected” the business at all. I think he actually respected it and tried to do his best. I would actually argue with Roddy about that if I had the chance.

I’m kinda surprised Troy didn’t add in a fake caption relating to the large Mr. T photo. Except for the caption to the small Hogan photo, none of the captions had anything to do with the cover imagery.

I think it would be interesting if these Pro Wrestling Desecrated articles included a link to the original covers for comparison. Here’s the original cover for this issue:
