  1. Big Jim says:

Yeah, I could picture Baba galloping down the streets in such an incredible fashion that all the Japanese would be forced to look and watch in awe.

  2. Porter "Budsgrand" Sultzbaugh says:

    Monty Python refernce… awesome.
It took Patera that long to collect ?

  3. John C says:

Of all the Japanese tapes and DVD’s I’ve watched it still amazes me how that big freak of nature got over with people. The Japanese wrestlers were known for workrate but Baba could make time stand still with how awful and plodding his matches were. The Khali chop looks more convincing than the Baba chop. I’d be more worried fighting Baba Booey.

  4. Walt says:

Baba certainly didn’t have the work rate of Inoki, Fujinami, Fujiwara, Sayama, Kido, Nishimura and a whole host of others. However, in watching Baba’s matches he had charisma. That picture was taken when he was older and declined as well. Baba was his best in the JWA before he founded AJPW in ’72. Also, Baba was known as a generous promoter. As long as you were loyal to him, he took care of you.

As for the PWI Desecrated itself, unlike the Miz…AWESOME! Laughed at LeDuc and Patera in particular
