A few months prior to this match, Razor Ramon lost in a very surprising upset to the 1-2-3 Kid which eventually lead to Razor turning face.
Now, as seen above on the September 20th, 1993 Monday Night Raw Razor comes out to distract I.R.S causing him to lose to P.J Walker.
Oh, the sweet, delicious irony!
The main difference between The 1-2-3 Kid’s win, and P.J Walker’s win being that The 1-2-3 Kid got a big push out of his angle with Razor, and P.J Walker got… nothing.
If I may quote Tatanka (BUFFALO!) a moment…
“Thanks for nothing!”
This segment above was just meant to push the exciting (?) Marty Jannetty, Randy Savage, Razor Ramon and The 1–2–3 Kid Vs. Irwin R. Schyster, Diesel, Rick Martel and Adam Bomb match that was coming up at that year’s Survivor Series.
Yes, it was Randy Savage, Marty Jannetty, Scott Hall, and Sean Waltman all on the same team- I’ll let you make your own substance abuse jokes there as you see fit.
Oh yeah, I.R.S (and his team) lost that match, too.
P.J Walker went on to become WrestleCrap inductee and human jellyfish Aldo Montoya (oh yeah, and later Justin Credible in some little indy fed, but who cares about that?).
I.R.S went on to invest in Wallstreet which was probably financially lucrative, but not so great for him career-wise.
