It Came From YouTube: The Gremlins face their biggest challenge yet, brother!

Crapper Sean Bateman sent this in and writes:

Hogan is a god awful sequel that Vince didn’t have his name as Executive Producer? Get Mrs. Deal on the phone!!!!

Um, Mrs. Deal?

Anyway, I love Gremlins 2 even more than the first one. It’s such cheesy fun. The VHS version doesn’t feature this Hogan scene (because it wouldn’t make sense in that context) but it has something else that’s even more creative.

I had “Gremlins 2″ on VHS, and I never knew about Hogan’s cameo in the theatrical version until I saw it on broadcast tv.

Yup, Gremlins 2 is still as big a baffling mindfuck as ever.

  3. TMS says:

I remember Gremlins 2 for two things. Tony Randall’s voice cameo and the fact that I used to work in the building that was used for the exterior shots of the Clamp building.

That’s awesome!! :-) Tony Randall as the lead Gremlin was hillarious. If that proposed “Gremlins” reboot ever sees the light of day, I propose that they bring his character back somehow, with Kelsey Grammer doing the voice.

Excellent idea! I’d have to agree that Kelsey grammar would probably be the best voice equivalent to tony Randall currently living.
