Joe Gagne is back with a review of the Suburban Commando video game (!) for the Amiga.

It actually looks like a pretty good game which is rare for these movie tie-in games.

I used to be a video game reviewer and wrote for retro sites regularly and I’ve never even heard of this game before. This must have bombed HARD if it’s so obscure.

Seems like the best non wrestling related thing Hulk Hogan ever was associated with. That’s saying something when the game based on the movie is actually better.

Only complaint is I kept thinking Joe said Chef Ramsay. He would have made for an awesome playable character/boss in the game or lead role for Suburban Commando 2. Like to see them get that down to PG-13 standards.

    “Ramsey, you’re a bastard!”

I so want that Great Khali game to be real.

The movie is still (somehow) entertaining, and as far as movie spin-off games go, this looks halfway decent. Good review, Joe!
