It Came From YouTube: Someone has it out for Vince McMahon!

Crapper John Matrix writes:

The WWE technical crew weren’t fans of Million Dollar Mania either, and on the June 23rd, 2008 episode of Raw they attempted to murder Vince McMahon. While McMahon survived the attack, the Million Dollar Mania angle was pronounced dead on its way to the hospital.

I have to admit, that’s a pretty cool visual. I don’t think the angle actually went anywhere, though except as an excuse to get Vince off TV.

Thanks, John.

    That looks like wrestleSHIT.

  2. Autrach Sejanoz says:

Pity this happened around the time one of TNA’s ring crew died due to part of the set collapsing on him.
RD Reynolds had a BRILLIANT rant about this in Fighting Spirit Magazine.

  3. Thomas Moffatt says:

Was there any conclusion to this angle ever??? My bet was that Nipple H was behind it all…

  4. Adam says:

It would have had to be an angle to get a conclusion – it was just an excuse to ditch the “bribe people into watching” thing.

As Autrach says, it was only two weeks after the TNA death (and roughly a year after the Benoit murders)… I’ve still got the FSM with R.D’s response, and he was spot on.
