It Came From YouTube: Shane Douglas + The Fat Boys + Skateboarding = Best video ever.

Yes, that’s The Fat Boys’ (remember them?) cover of “Wipe Out” used for The Dynamic Dudes theme song.

Shane Douglas and John Laurinaitis both probably wish you’d forget about this particular point in their careers.

Look! They love to eat pizza and drink soda just like I do! They’re so fun-loving and relatable.

And you thought Dean Douglas was the worst thing he ever did!

It wasn’t a bad tag team idea in theory, could’ve been WCW’s version of “The Rockers” but Johnny Ace is about as dynamic as a white picket fence, and Shane Douglas as a face is odd.

The Fat Boys were the greatest mainstream hip hop act of all time. Period.

  3. Sean Bateman says:

and this is featuring the legendary Beach boys!

In the video, it’s only Brian Wilson, Mike Love, and Bruce “I Write the Songs, not Barry Manilow” Johnston. Kind of a wacky time in their history when they were pretty much still cashing in on the popularity of “Kokomo” and Cocktail. They had several configurations/lineups at this time and was pretty much a cluster you know what.

      • Matt Soileau says:

I meant the video for the song, not this. The other two (at the time) could be on the track but just not in the video. Or they sat it out the same way Brian sat out “Kokomo.”

  4. John says:

The cheering from the crowd when Jim Cornette turned on them was one of the greatest things ever.

The proto-XTREEEEEEEEEEMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sports thing just wasn’t big enough in those days to support a tag team like this. I wonder how a late 90s version of this would have gone over in the Attitude Era?

  6. Alexandru says:

Yeah Johnny Ace is a complete joke and Shane Douglas was nothing more than a mid carder at best though this was pretty funny

  7. tom says:

whats depressing about this….a 4 minute that completely repeats itself. They couldn’t find 4 minutes of highlights and filler?? UGH

  8. Brian J says:

HA! I had a 45 single of this, played it all the time!

  9. Caveman says:

I’m surprised to see that Johnny Ace did actually skateboard.
